Moderated by Ambassador Stuart Eizenstat, whose distinguished career has included serving as Chief White House Domestic Policy Adviser and  U.S. Ambassador to the European Union.

The book tells the story of  the fate of Dutch Jews during the Holocaust through the remarkable story of 6-year-old twins Stefan and Marion Hess and their family, one of only 3 families to survive Bergen-Belsen intact.

Faris Cassell is an award-winning investigative journalist. Her first book The Unanswered Letter won the National Jewish Book Award.

Marion Ein Lewin emigrated to US after the Holocaust. She built a family and career as a Health Policy Analyst. She continues to share her story as a testament to resilience in the face of unspeakable adversity.
