The award-winning documentary explores the transformative power of sports for disabled people through the stories of two British children. Marley discovers his confidence in boxing, and Tammy is inspired by a Paralympic star to explore wheelchair racing. Both face discrimination in their access to sports and PE, and the film follows their fight against these barriers. By capturing the nuanced joy and empowerment that sport brings to disabled individuals, EQUAL PLAY highlights the positive change that inclusion can create.

Reveals how a young, unknown theatre actor became a global sensation playing the beloved superhero Superman – before a near-fatal horse-riding accident left him quadriplegic. But in spite of this, Christopher harnessed his fame and celebrity to become a true real life  superhero , as a passionate advocate for disability rights. A story of astonishing courage and resilience in the face of unimaginable adversity, the film features never-before-seen personal archive and powerful, intimate interviews with his three children, speaking about their father for the first time.
