Is the SoCal Museum Free-For-All on Saturday, March 23rd or Sunday, March 24th?
SoCal Museums is having their annual Free-For-All on Saturday, March 23rd. We are not open on Saturdays, so the MOT is going to be participating on Sunday, March 24th.

Do I need to make an advanced reservation?
No. Please note, however, to accommodate all visitors, museum entry is timed and everyone arriving will be issued a time-stamped admission ticket.

What if I arrive and the next available time-stamped admission ticket is in an hour or two?
Depending on your arrival, you may choose to hear one of our scheduled Holocaust Survivor speakers before entering the exhibit space. Or you may choose to get some lunch prior to your entrance. MOT staff will be happy to help you plan your day.

I am in the museum, can I go anywhere?
Yes, all exhibits will be open. Please note however, some exhibits run on cycles and you may have to wait to join the next group entering. For example, the Holocaust exhibit starts every 12 minutes and only a certain number of people can enter with each cycle.

What is available to see?

Where can I park?
The Museum of Tolerance offers free underground parking until the lot is full. The entrance to the garage is on Pico Blvd. Please do not park on residential streets around the museum. There are parking restrictions in place. There is metered parking and other paid lots in the area.

What are my public transportation options?
Metro 14 stops at Beverly Dr. & Pico Blvd., two blocks East of the MOT. Big Blue Bus 7 & 13 stop in front of the MOT at Pico Blvd. & Roxbury Dr.

Can I just be dropped off?
Yes. Passenger drop-off are permitted in front of the museum on Pico Boulevard only.

Is there anything else I should know about?
Yes. Please allow time for security check before entering. Please leave bags and other personal items in your vehicle to expedite the security check.
