ON MLK DAY |
MARTIN & ANNE Museum of Tolerance |
Anne Frank and Martin Luther King Jr. were born the same year a world apart. Both faced prejudices and violence, which both answered with words of love and faith in humanity. This story of their parallel journeys is at once a portrait of two hearts that beat with the same hope and the urgency of recognizing and standing up to injustice wherever we see it. Nancy Churnin is the former theater critic for The Dallas Morning News and award-winning author of eight children's books. A book sale and signing will follow the program. |
