The divisive rhetoric of the United States’ election process has shown us that we must figure out how to talk—and listen—with civility and respect.
These skills are vital to the health of civil society and the future of Democracy.
By participating in this workshop, educators will...
1. Explore teaching strategies and curricular resources from Facing History and the Museum of Tolerance to integrate into your classroom.
2. Receive a Certificate of Professional Development Hours
This interactive workshop is for teachers, curriculum specialists, school administrators and all school personnel. Lunch and materials are included for FREE.
This workshop is a collaboration of the Museum of Tolerance, Facing History And Ourselves with grant funding from the California Teachers Collaborative for Holocaust and Genocide Education, and support from the California Department of Education.
