The Museum of Tolerance and the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Los Angeles present

WINTON'S TRAINS

The story of Jewish children whose lives were saved by the heroic efforts of Nicholas Winton.

An exhibition produced by Olga Menzelová, MEDIALOGUE, s.r.o.

Opening April 24, 2017

In 1939, Winton learned about the imminent threat facing Jews in Czechoslovakia. The young British stockbroker organized a rescue operation that brought 669 children from Czechoslovakia to safety in Great Britain, just before the outbreak of World War II.

The exhibition introduces the viewer to some of the children he saved as they gather with Winton in Prague on the 70th anniversary of their historic rescue and retrace part of that lifesaving journey.
