The program will feature a screening of the Emmy Award-winning film Shattered Dreams: A Child of the Holocaust.

87 years after the event, Kristallnacht still casts its dark shadow. It marked the Nazi regime’s transition from the discriminatory Nuremberg Laws to the advent of ‘Final Solution’ genocide against European Jewry.
 
There is nothing more important than an eye-witness testimony to the truth. The need for documentary evidence from those who lived through the events of the Holocaust is especially urgent today as survivors are passing away. 
 

A conversation with special guest, Kristallnacht survivor and the subject of Shattered Dreams, Paul Schwarzbart will follow the screening.

A reception will follow the event.
