About
8 Above, Museum of Tolerance, USC Shoah Foundation, and JFCS Holocaust Center invite you to a special pre‑release screening of
AMONG NEIGHBORS
Wednesday, September 10, at 6:30 PM
at the Museum of Tolerance
The award‑winning documentary, AMONG NEIGHBORS is an evocative and heart‑pounding murder mystery with urgent political relevance. Using beautiful hand‑drawn animation to bring the past to life, AMONG NEIGHBORS investigates the story of a small, rural Polish town where the longstanding peace between Jewish and Polish neighbors was shattered by World War II.
The film focuses on one of the last living Holocaust survivors from the town, and an aging eyewitness who saw Jews murdered there — six months after the Nazis were defeated.
Following the screening, join us for a Q&A with filmmaker Yoav Potash and from the film, Anita Friedman and Aaron Tartakovsky.
This event is offered free of charge. RSVP required. Register here.
FREE UNDERGROUND PARKING. Please be considerate of our residential neighbors and make every effort to avoid driving through single-family residential neighborhood streets.
