Compared by critics to The Sopranos, The Zweiflers is a new much-lauded comic-drama series that follows the travails of an extended Jewish family sorting out the future of its vast delicatessen empire in contemporary Germany. The legendary Mike Burstyn stars as Symcha Zweifler, the family patriarch and Holocaust survivor as he prepares to sell his delicatessen empire when potentially damaging secrets from the past throw his future—and that of his children and grandchildren—into question.

Following the screening, join us for a Q&A with the star, Mike Burstyn and Director Anja Marquardt moderated by David Suissa, President of the Jewish Journal.

In celebration of the closing night of the Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival, there will be a reception held after the event.
