About

Sang is one of countless children left behind by American soldiers after the Vietnam War. Stigmatized and abandoned, he spends a lifetime longing for the father he never had. When he unexpectedly locates his gravely ill father in the United States, he is determined to meet him, even at a heavy cost—leaving his wife, daughter, and grandson behind. Child of Dust is a universal story of searching for belonging that transcends borders, reminding us that war’s echoes are never truly silenced.

Q&A with director Weronika Mliczewska, producer Bao Nguyen, and protagonist Sang Ngô Thanh moderated by Academy Award nominated director Jessica Kingdon will follow the film.

This event is offered free of charge. RSVP required. Register here.
