The Social Lab invites visitors to examine assumptions, prejudice, and discrimination in ourselves, our communities and across the world.
Through video installations and interactive hubs, visitors consider their own viewpoints, explore diverse perspectives, and collaborate to find common ground. The experience invites dialogue and action, encouraging every visitor to reflect on their impact on humanity.

The Point of View Cube
Observe the same scenario from multiple points of view to reveal how a change in perspective can transform the story you see.

The Forum
Examine and debate solutions to pressing issues facing the United States today. In this collaborative space, visitors use interactive media to explore diverse perspectives and propose creative responses.

Global Crisis Center
Explore urgent global crises and consider how individual and collective responses shape our world. Meet those directly affected and learn about the efforts of leaders and organizations working toward solutions. This multimedia experience invites visitors to reflect on their role in responding to these challenges.

We the People
Through a series of large video screens, this hub interactive timeline presents a chronological journey through our nation’s history from the 1500s to the present, tracing discrimination, progress, and the ongoing struggle for equal rights. The installation reflects the many threads that weave America’s story—a tapestry of creativity, conflict, and the pursuit of justice that continues to shape the American dream.

Civil Rights & Social Justice
The struggle for Civil Rights in America is as old as our nation itself and Through a video installation, this hub explores how the struggle for social justice has shaped America since its founding, touching touches every aspect of life—from education and health care to housing and the environment. As intolerance takestakes on new forms, the nonviolent strategies of ordinary citizens and civil rights leaders in the 1950’s and 1960’s offer enduring guidance in the pursuit of equity today.

The Oldest Hate Continues
This video installation examines the persistence of antisemitism and its impact on communities worldwide. After the Holocaust, many hoped such prejudice and violence would end. Instead, antisemitism endures in new forms, reaching its highest levels since the Holocaust.

A live news feed showcasing positive stories sourced from over 500 media outlets. Highlighting individuals and organizations creating meaningful change in the world.
